Well hello there children. Yesterday

Well hello there children. Yesterday was fairly productive. I got chromes done at the darkroom. They’re ok, nothing special. Afterwards I went to see Hearts in Atlantis with Lauren, which was quite good. Anthony Hopkins made up for Hanibal with this one. He’s still a kick ass actor. There was also a few previews for stuff that didn’t look to bad. “The Last Castle” in perticular. I happen to think that James Gandolfinie (aka: Tony Soprono) is bad ass and would see it simply for that.

Today I’ve got lots more work ahead of me. I’ve got a few digital pictures due on Monday and a 3D project to work on. The digital stuff won’t take me long, it’s just a pain in the ass. I’ll let everyone see once I’m done with’em. I’ll post my color prints too.

Oh, I also got inspired to mix again. Haven’t done it yet, but it’s coming, I can feel it. I feel kinda bad that I just made one, now I want to make another, but such is the way of inspiration. We’ll see what time allows. Ok, I’ve got to go transfer laundry, then start on the images. Later.

Hello. Nagle finally got his

Hello. Nagle finally got his ass over here last night after running to SC for a good portion of the day. I felt bad for Jason who really needed him in a video shoot, but I helped out where I could. We had some cake, pizza and laughter and then they left since Gabe was coming down to visit and they needed to be there to let him in. After that Lauren and I went to the video store to see if there was anything to rent. I actually ended up buying Office Space and Enemy at the Gates since they were so cheap “previously viewed”.

Today however will be less fun and games and more work. I’ve got to be in the darkroom for hours on end and Lauren has to do some research in the library for a few hours. After that we’re planning on going to see Hearts in Atlantis. Should be good. Later.

Current Mood: still a little sleepy.

UPDATE:

Nagle canceled on the movie shoot… How the hell are we supposed to give him his cake. More importantly, how’s Jason supposed to shoot his piece. Damn it Nagle. I suppose you have things to do, so I can’t really blame you, but what are we gonna do with all this cake.

Well, today is October 5th,

Well, today is October 5th, which just happens to be Nagle birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY NAGLE! We’ve got a little something planned for tonight, nothing big, just some food and friends but it should be fun anyway.

Besides that, I’ve got a few things to work on today. I’ve got 9 Photoshop collages due on Monday which I haven’t started. But, you know me and Photoshop, it shouldn’t take very long. After that, Lauren and Nagle get to star in a Skinny White Boy Production (Jason’s movie) which they’re shooting around 2:30. I have to go to a meeting for the SCAD Web Radio around 2, but it shouldn’t take very long.

After that, a little hanging out and relaxing, maybe some more homework if time allows. Tomorrow however, I’ll be in the darkroom for a good portion of the day. Probably until the afternoon. I’ve got 4 prints to make from slides and they take forever. I’ve also gotten some ideas for a new set of pictures I need to take, so that should be good. In between all this I’ve got to finish putting together my 3D project. Yah. Let the fun of midterms begin.

From Chris

I love electronic/ techno music. I think that in a scant few months when my real life starts, I will be investing in some turntables and a mixer. Start spinning vinyl in my spare time. The way that you see beauty in the flowing and perfection of the violin, I see it in the perpetual rotation of a record. The most beautiful thing about Djing is that although almost all of the music is created on machines, they are merely songs until touched by the hands of a gifted DJ, who weaves each individual baseline into one, every complete set a masterpiece that is enjoyed by those people who will truly enjoy it, not some mtv-generation-A&F-wearin “weekend raver”.

Let me second that motion. My sentiments exactly my friend. Later.
