So, before this years Diamond Giveaway ends on New Years, I thought I’d take a look back through what cards I had received and see if any of them are worth the shipping cost. The answer, not many. There are quite a few 80’s cards that are simply junk wax. Out of the whole thing I think there’s only 3 or 4 cards I have any interest in. I’ll post a list of what I have in case anyone is interested in any of them.

I was pretty much only contemplating having the 55 Wilson, 63 LeMaster, 73 Pappas and of course the Dye Cut Chris Sale shipped to me. Anyone have any compelling reasons I should pick up any of the others? Or are they indeed just junk cardboard?

Just an FYI I belive they’ve extended the deadline on the Diamond Giveaway another 6 months, I can’t remember where I read it.
I’ve got my last 2 DDC cards to be shipped and I’ll be done… if I were you, I’d package all those cards together and try to trade for some Red Sox card that you actually want…
Hmmm, probably not a bad idea. The idea of getting the 1955 card still kinda appeals to me though, just from a “wow, that’s old” sort of perspective. I don’t have anything older than 1980 at the moment. I think you’re probably right about the rest though.
